An exhibition inspired by the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle
“Castle Dreams” is an exhibition of images created by fifteen illustrator artists inspired by the Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle. The illustrators were given free rein to each transcribe the theme of fortified castles in their own way.
These artists bring their visions of the castles approached from a realistic, poetic or fanciful angle, according to the sensitivity of the artists. The original drawings specially created for the exhibition are reproduced in large formats installed in the Saint Paul church on the occasion of Strasbourg World Book Capital.
The artists all work in Alsace: Amin Lebiad, Camille Tisserand, Christophe Carmona, Eugène Santangelo, Christian Heinrich, Jack Koch, Giuseppe Manunta, Philippe Matter, Vlou, Vincent Wagner, Anne Mahler, Daphné Raimbaux, Fabrice Weiss and Jean-Claude Weinling.
In partnership with the HKBD association and 757 (Haut-Koenigsbourg bookstore).

This exhibition pays tribute to artists in the book and illustration sector by bringing together extracts from comics and original drawings specially produced for the exhibition.
