A café in the heart of Saint Paul's Church
To energize the life of the church, increase its visibility and open it even more widely to the public, the idea came to establish a café in the right aisle of the nave.
This concept, innovative in Strasbourg, is inspired by other café projects already installed in the heart of churches in England, Holland and Germany.
The café will mark the establishment of a rare and magical place where time seems to stand still. Imagine yourself sitting in the tranquility of this church, a cup of tea or coffee in hand, enjoying a few sweet treats in an atmosphere imbued with contemplation and history.
More than just a break, this is a moment where the soul of the place envelops you, where each sip invites you to contemplation. In this unique and spiritual setting, you can observe the progress of the work bringing this architectural gem back to life.
Marie-Claire, pastor, tells us more:"The urgent nature of the restoration gives us strength and ideas... Like that of this café, which will be a showcase for the renovation, but also, and above all, a place for meetings and discussions. We are convinced that the café will encourage more people to spend time in this incredible church.
